Intoxicated Persons

Date: Monday, January 27, 2014 – 7:12pm
Police were called to the intersection of Sanford Street and Victoria Street regarding two people lying on the roadway. On arrival a male and female were rolling in the snow in the middle of the road causing traffic to stop.

After speaking with both people, it was quickly determined that they were intoxicated and unable to care for themselves. Both were taken to the station to sober up.

Once the 40 year old Barrie male identified himself, it was learned that he was wanted on a 180 day committal warrant. He was taken to Central North Correctional Centre to serve the time owed.
