Occurrence #: BA14-16922
Date: Monday, April 14, 2014 – 6:00pm
On the 14th of April 2014 at approximately 6pm, Barrie Police responded to a downtown business who were complaining of a possible intoxicated person in their premise. Upon police arrival officers discovered a male attempting to eat his hamburger. The officers observed the male holding his burger while sitting in his seat with his eyes closed swaying side to side. Not only could the officers smell a strong odour of alcohol emanating from the male but they also observed the male to have mayonnaise sauce from his burger smeared all over his face as it appeared he may have missed his mouth on several occasions.
Needless to say the male was unable to care for himself and was subsequently arrested for being intoxicated in a public place. He was held in cells until he sobered up at which time he was released.
