Huron County OPP would like to remind everyone that leaving a young child unattended in a vehicle should never happen. The potential for serious injury and death does exist. A vehicle can quite quickly become an oven” in less than 15 minutes. Interior compartment temperatures can rise to dangerous levels even on mild days. Always consider the safety of a child. Do not jeopardize the safety of a child for your pure convenience.”
