Impaired Driving – Drugs

(Innisfil, ON) South Simcoe Police responded to a call from a concerned citizen about a possibly impaired driver last night. On Sunday, June 26, 2016, just after 9:15 p.m., officers located a speeding black pickup on 10 Sideroad in Bradford, after the tip from the witness. The woman driving the truck was investigated and arrested after officers found syringes and a powdered substance in the vehicle. After testing at the station, a 38 year old Port Severn woman was charged with Impaired Driving (Drug) and Possession of Heroin. Her licence has been suspended for 90 days, and her vehicle impounded. She will appear in court in July.
