On December 14 2014, at approximately 2;30 am, a 41 yr old Kitchener man was operating a 2013 Lexus on Frederick St in Kitchener. The passenger was a 49 yr old Kitchener woman and registered owner of the vehicle. The vehicle lost control, left the roadway struck a large tree, flipped onto its roof striking a residence landing on the front steps. The passenger suffered a fatal injury as a result of the collision. The driver was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries; treated and released. The driver was held for a bail hearing and is charged with Impaired Driving Causing Death and Dangerous Driving Causing Death.
