At approximately 2:44 am this morning the Chatham Kent Police conducted a traffic stop on Grand Avenue in Chatham. Upon speaking with the driver of the vehicle signs of impairment were noted by the officer. The driver was arrested and transported to the Chatham Kent Police Service for breath tests. He blew nearly three (3) times the legal limit. As a result, a 22 year old Chatham man was charged with impaired driving and will appear in court at a later date.
