(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On June 4, 2016 at approximately 11:25 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a possible impaired driver operating a Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck on Hwy. 6 in the Township of Chatsworth.
Police stopped the suspect vehicle on Hwy. 6 south of Grey Rd. 40 and found that the lone driver had been drinking alcohol. After failing a roadside breath test, the driver was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and was transported to the Chatsworth OPP detachment for further breath tests. He failed to provide proper samples of his breath despite repeated attempts.
Further investigation revealed that the driver was disqualified from driving for life.
52-year old Bradley Allan ALBRIGHT, of the Township of Chatsworth, was charged with impaired driving, driving while disqualified and fail/refuse to provide breath sample. He was held for a bail hearing scheduled on June 5, 2016.
