On Tuesday December 24th, 2013, a 23 year old Cambridge man was operating a four door Hyundai vehicle at a high rate of speed Northbound on Coronation Blvd. As the vehicle entered onto King Street the driver lost control of the car between Montrose Street and Chestnut Street. The vehicle mounted the curb and flipped over striking a residence and then a Hydro pole. Vehicle came to rest on its roof. As a result of the accident the male driver/lone occupant was arrested at the scene and will be charged with 3 Criminal Code Offences. There were no other persons injured and the driver sustained minor scrapes and bruising. The Waterloo Regional Police would like to thank the 12 persons that came forward as independent witnesses to the erratic driving of the accused.
