Shortly after 1am, members of the Barrie Police Service investigated a vehicle on Anne St. N. after an improper stop at the intersection of Letitia St. The officers performed a roadside alcohol test on the 35 year old driver. He was subsequently arrested for driving over 80mgs. A further search revealed the he was also in possession of small amounts of crack cocaine and marihuana. The male was taken to the station where he provided samples of 120mgs and 115mgs. He was charged with driving over 80mgs, possession of a controlled substance ( 2 counts). He was released on a promise to appear with an undertaking.
