On Sunday August 24, 2014 at approximately 2:44am a 22 year old Kitchener male was driving a motor vehicle southbound on George Street North in North Dumfries Township when he failed to negotiate a bend in the road and lost control striking a hydro pole. The male was transported to Cambridge Memorial Hospital with major injuries. Both speed and alcohol are considered factors in the collision. The investigation is continuing.
