(LAKE ROSALIND, ON) – On June 11, 2017, members of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) marine unit were patrolling the waters of Lake Rosalind when they stopped to conduct a vessel check. The operator was found to be impaired. Fifty-year-old Wayne COWTAN of Brockton was charged with impaired operation, operate over 80 milligrams, operate vessel with open alcohol and 4 safety violations under the Canada Shipping Act – Small Vessel Regulations. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 12, 2017 to answer to the charges.
