Hwy 9 Rollover Leads To Impaired Charge For ATV Driver

(GREENOCK TWP, ON) – On March 18, 2016 at 6:38 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) rollover along Highway 9 in Greenock Township. Officers arrived with Bruce Paramedic Services and Walkerton Fire Department to find a Red Polaris A99 All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) had rolled before coming to rest in the field. The operator was found to have been drinking alcohol. Thirty-seven-year old Jeremy SELF of Brockton was charged with impaired driving and care or control over 80 milligrams. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 20, 2016. He received treatment for non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital.
