(HURON COUNTY, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is urging motorists to refrain from unnecessary travel throughout the county tonight due to poor driving conditions in several areas.
As of 10:00 p.m. the following roadways in Huron County are closed:
Highway 21 (Bluewater Veteran’s Highway) from Blyth Road north to Amberley.
Highway 86 (Amberley Road) from Amberley east to Listowel.

Motorists are reminded to respect the road closure signs that are in place. Driving on a closed roadway is an offence under the Highway Traffic Act that carries a $110 fine and three demerit points upon conviction.
All motorists are encouraged to check weather and road travel conditions by calling 511 or online at www.Ontario.ca/trip for up to date road conditions for provincially maintained highways.
