Huron County OPP Seeking Tips in 7-Year-Old Case

(HURON COUNTY, ON) – This Good Friday, March 25th, 2016 will mark the seven year anniversary of Ronald HALLAM’s disappearance from his residence located on Prosperity Line in the Municipality of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh.

HALLAM was last seen on his property around 11:00 a.m. on March 25th, 2009. Police believe he left his property and walked toward a wooded area of the nearby Saratoga Swamp.

A very exhaustive search was completed by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). The search involved specialized units consisting of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit and the Helicopter Unit. A large contingent of community volunteers also assisted in the search. Despite the significant efforts of the OPP, family members and community volunteers Ronald HALLAM has not been located.

At the time of his disappearance Ronald HALLAM was 66 years of age, 5’8” tall and weighed around 200 pounds. He is partially bald with greying hair.
