HURON COUNTY GUNS & HOSES CHARITY HOCKEY GAME

(HURON COUNTY, ON) – Huron County hockey fans get set for an exciting charity hockey game this Saturday afternoon. The Goderich-Huron YMCA located on Suncoast Drive East will be hosting the game between the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers and the Goderich Fire Department firefighters. This is the third annual game with the series tied at one game apiece.

All proceeds from the event will be supporting two great charities. The Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund (DMMF) & the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.

More than a just a hockey game, this event has been proven to be a great afternoon of family entertainment. As an added bonus the Goderich Minor Hockey development program future stars will be playing a short game during the first intermission.

All fans will have the chance to win prizes graciously donated by local businesses and supporters. In addition, a silent auction fundraiser offering lots of great items including some NHL autographed jerseys will be taking place during the game. A few other surprises are planned so stop in for a great time.

Puck drop is Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 3:00 p.m..

$2.50 admission tickets are available at the YMCA front desk. Children age five and under are free.
