Waterloo Region, Ontario – The Waterloo Regional Police Service continues to investigate the murders of Linda Daniel and her daughter Cheyenne Daniel. Last seen in July 2011, Linda and Cheyenne were 47 and 13 respectively at the time of their disappearance and were last known to reside in Wellesley Township.
Investigators have been examining the last known address of Linda and Cheyenne (3670 Hessen Strasse Road, Wellesley Township) in an effort to gather evidence. In partnership with the Centre of Forensic Sciences and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service, the search of the property has now concluded and confirms human remains have been located at the scene.
Police will continue to guard the property for the remainder of the week. The search warrant which provides police access to the property expires on September 23, 2016. Further examination at the Centre of Forensic Sciences and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service will determine the identity of the remains. The results of this examination may take several months.
As a result of this investigation, Glenn Kraemer Bauman, 43, has been charged with First Degree Murder x 2 and Offering an Indignity to a Body x 2. His next court appearance is September 16, 2016. Police are not anticipating any further charges relating to this incident.
