In the early morning hours of September 13, 2015 police responded to the Preston area of Cambridge after receiving a report of a male who had broken into a residence. The homeowners were awoken to the noise of someone in their house and gave chase after the suspect who fled on foot. A search of the area was conducted however the suspect was not located. The suspect is this incident is described as; male, white, approximately five foot nine inches with a slim build. There have been two other residential break and enters that occurred in the early morning hours of September 12, 2015 in the same vicinity. In all three cases the suspect(s) gained entry to the residences while homeowners were inside. Residents are reminded to lock their doors, windows, and vehicles, and report any suspicious activity or persons to police.
