Homeowner Injured Defending Property From Repeat Offenders – Samuel BARKER-ROGERS & Kaila MUSSELMAN Arrested

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On April 11, 2018, at approximately 9:00 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a residential break and enter on Ten Mile Road, Municipality of Middlesex Centre.

The investigation revealed that suspects entered the home by force. The home owner returned to the property and was surprised to find a vehicle on the property and two suspects inside the home.

The home owner challenged the suspects and a confrontation ensued. The home owner sustained injuries as a result of the confrontation. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance and released shortly after.

As a result, 29-year-old male, Samuel BARKER-ROGERS, of London, Ontario, was arrested on April 18, 2018 and charged pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CC) with:

Robbery with Weapon

Assault Cause Bodily Harm

Break, Enter Dwelling House

Drive While Disqualified

Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle

Fail to Comply with Recognizance

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing in a London court room.

A female accused, 25-year-old, Kaila MUSSELMAN, of London, Ontario, was arrested on April 19, 2018 and charged pursuant to the CC with:

Robbery with Weapon

Disguise with Intent

Break, Enter Dwelling House

Fail to Comply with Recognizance

Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing in a London court room.
