Home Ransacked Near Shipka

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating a break, enter and theft that took place near Shipka last week.

Sometime between 6:10 a.m. and 4:50 p.m. on Friday, November 24, 2017 someone forced entry into the unoccupied home through the garage and proceeded to ransack the home looking for valuables. In total about $3,000 in property was stolen.

Some of the stolen items included: a 40 inch flat screen television, various pieces of jewellery, luggage and several bottles of alcohol (spirits).
