(COUNTY OF WELLINGTON, ON) The County of Wellington Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) want to remind home owners to get in the habit of locking the doors to their residences during the day and night. In the past, the OPP has received reports of homes being entered by criminals while residents were on the property. Most recently an incident occurred in Fergus where a criminal entered a home in the daytime while the owner was tending to a garden.
Some criminals are looking for an easy opportunity and you have the control to not become a victim. Lock the doors.
