Barrie Police arrived on scene of a disturbance while the suspect was still on the property resulting in the various charges for a Barrie male already on a Probation Order.
On Monday, November 7th, 2016 at 9:15am Police attended 63 McDonald Street, in the City of Barrie, for a disturbance reported by the building superintendent. The accused attended the residence banging on the back door of the house yelling for someone who is not known to live there. When the superintendent answered the door, refusing the males entry, the accused became irate. He head-butted the victim engaging him in physical fight trying to gain access to the building. The accused then bit the victim twice before breaking free and running into the rooming house. He then began banging on the door of a resident demanding drugs.
Police arrived on scene to the male outside the residence still irate he could not get his hands on drugs. The 39-year-old Barrie male was charged with Assault Cause Bodily Harm, Forcible Entry and Fail to Comply with Probation. The victim was transported to Royal Victoria Regional Health Center with minor injuries where he was treated and released.
