The Toronto Police Service requests the public’s assistance locating a man wanted for the assault of a woman and her infant son.
On Monday, December 15, 2014, at 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a call for an assault in the Neilson Road and Sheppard Avenue East area.
It is alleged that:
– a woman, in her 20s, and her infant son were sleeping
– a man entered the home and went to the bedroom
– the mother argued with the man, begging him to leave, while clutching her son
– the man became angry, grabbed her by the throat and punched her many times
– he also punched the child, on the side of his head, causing swelling and bruising
– his assault was interrupted by another person
– he fled the scene threatening to kill the woman
He is described as black, dark complexion, 23, 6’1
