Between June 24, 2014 and July 5, 2014, the Guelph Police Service High Enforcement Action Team conducted compliance checks on Holistic Service Spas located in the City of Guelph. The High Enforcement Action Team laid 34 charges under the by-law that totaled $15,850 in fines to both the employees and the owners for a number of violations including fees not listed, services not listed and nudity.
The holistic services are bound by a number of conditions under the City of Guelph By-Law (2009)-18855
The Guelph Police Service is active in monitoring and enforcing by-law compliance within the holistic services establishments licensed by the City of Guelph.
