On Friday November 9, 2012 at 10:39 p.m., Guelph Police attended to the scene of a single motor vehicle collision on the north bound on-ramp to the Hanlon Parkway from Wellington Street West, Guelph. Investigation revealed that a vehicle struck the guardrail as it tried to negotiate the curve on the on-ramp and left the scene prior to Police arrival.
A short time later the suspect vehicle was located on Sanderson Drive with extensive damage to its’ front end.
The damages to the guardrail are estimated at $10, 000.00 and $10,000.00 to the vehicle.
