Hit and Run – Pedestrian Struck

On November 5, 2014 at 9:30 p.m., the Guelph Police went to the intersection of Speedvale Avenue East and Victoria Road North for a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. It was reported that a gold SUV that was east bound on Speedvale turned left onto Victoria striking a pedestrian that was crossing Speedvale with the light, knocking her to the ground. The driver stopped briefly before leaving the scene. The female pedestrian received minor injuries.

Police located the unoccupied vehicle a short time later but the driver is still to be identified. His description is male in his 50’s with a moustache.
