Hit and Run Near Bluevale – Pedestrian Airlifted To London

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the OPP West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Team (TTCI) are currently investigating a fail to remain collision involving a male pedestrian that was struck by an unknown vehicle just east of Bluevale.

Last night at 8:30 p.m. Huron County OPP, Huron County EMS and Brussels Fire Department personnel responded to the collision scene located on Amberley Road near Ramsay Line. Upon arrival officers located an unresponsive male that was found lying on the shoulder of the roadway.

The injured male was transported to hospital in London by air ambulance with life threatening injuries.

Investigators have located glass and a passenger side mirror at the collision scene from the suspect vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing and further information will be released as it becomes available.

Huron County OPP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the vehicle and driver involved in this collision. Anyone with information that may assist investigators with this investigation is asked to contact Huron County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or (519) 524-1074.
