Hit And Run In Owen Sound – BOLO White 2 Door Car With Damage

Owen Sound Police are investigating a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the city last evening involving two vehicles where one driver failed to remain at the scene. At approximately 8:30 p.m. an Owen Sound woman was driving her Chevrolet Pick-up eastbound on 8 th Street East turning left onto 9 th Avenue East with the advanced green signal. A second vehicle, initially travelling westbound on 8 th Street East, made a sudden manoeuvre to also turn northbound onto 9 th Avenue East.

This vehicle failed to remain in the proper lane during the manoeuvre and collided with the Pick-up truck in the northbound centre lane. The suspect vehicle then reversed and fled the area westbound on 8 th Street East. The suspect vehicle is described as a newer, white 2 door foreign car with dark tinted windows. The vehicle will have significant damage to the driver’s side. The pick-up truck required towing from the scene.
