On November 23, 2015 at 1:46 p.m., the Guelph Police investigated the report of a hit and run collision at Woolwich Street and Eramosa Road. It is alleged that a transport truck pulling a mobile home struck a light standard but continued driving on Eramosa Road. The caller advised that the mobile home also received damage in the collision. Police located the transport truck on Eramosa Road just north of Speedvale Avenue as it had pulled over for a flat tire. Public Works was called to deal with the damage to the light standard which had been left tilted with the walk sign smashed.
The driver has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with careless driving, fail to remain and oversized load.
Property damage investigated
On November 23, 2015 at 8:25 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a business on Elizabeth Street to investigate the report of property damage. Sometime over the weekend the culprit(s) were able to operate a piece of machinery from the construction area and damaged property at the front of the business. The damage is estimated at over $7,000.

Damage at Transit Hub investigated
On November 24, 2015 at 2:06 a.m., the Guelph Police went to the Transit Hub on Macdonell Street for the report of property damage. Transit platform number 11 had the glass smashed sometime between 11:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.
