(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are trying to locate the driver of a sedan that left the scene of a collision yesterday. At approximately 11:15 a.m. the driver of a grey Buick Enclave reported he was travelling northbound on Cove Road near St. Christopher’s Beach when a southbound vehicle collided with his vehicle. The collision caused minor damage to the Enclave.
The drivers spoke briefly, however when the driver of the Buick decided police should be notified the suspect driver left the scene of the collision and failed to exchange vehicle and insurance information.
The vehicle that failed to remain at the scene is described as a white, mid-sized, four door sedan. It sustained damage to the driver’s side rear corner panel.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 25 years of age, medium height, slim build, with dark hair. A medium sized dog was in his vehicle at the time of the crash.
