(GODERICH, ON) – On January 30, 2012 just before midnight a Huron County OPP officer located evidence of a fail to remain motor vehicle collision. Officers observed damage to a tree and a fence located on Cove Road in Goderich. Damage at the scene was consistent with a northbound motor vehicle leaving the roadway. It is believed the involved vehicle may have been a GM product.
Motorists are reminded that drivers are required under the Highway Traffic Act to report collisions involving damage to trees, shrubs, poles, lights, signs or any other property on the highway or a fence bordering the highway forthwith to a police officer.
