On Thursday, August 15, 2013 at approximately 8:47 p.m., police were detailed to Adelaide Street and Huron Street in regards to a hit and run collision.
Upon arrival, it was learned that two pedestrians whom were using the east sidewalk were struck by a vehicle. A 29-year-old female along with an 11-year-old female were both transported to Victoria Hospital with minor injuries. The adult sustained soreness to her leg and back while the child sustained soreness to her foot.
Witnesses described the vehicle as a four-door silver Kia or Honda.
The driver is described as: female, Asian, mid-20’s, 5’4
