Occurrence Type: Fail To Remain Traffic Accident

Date: Saturday, March 21, 2015 – 9:50am

Barrie Police are seeking the assistance from the public in regards to a fail to remain accident that occurred on Saturday March 21st 2015 at approximately 9:50am at Holly Meadow Road and Farmstead Crescent.

The suspect vehicle was driving northeast on Holly Meadow approaching Farmstead Crescent. As the vehicle approached the T intersection it continued straight across Farmstead, mounting the curb and striking the boulevard tree snapping it at the base. The vehicle continued over the tree and struck a vehicle parked in the driveway of the residence. The suspect vehicle then fled north east along Farmstead.

Fortunately no one was hurt, however considerable amount of property damage was done. Police believe the vehicle is a silver or light grey in colour and will have significant front end damage.
