(BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – Effective 10:00am on January 27, 2014 Highway 6 and all county roads on the Bruce Peninsula are now open to traffic.
While the storm related road closures have ended, Bruce Peninsula OPP are monitoring the unstable weather conditions today and reminding motorists to still use extreme caution when travelling roads due to poor visibility, blowing and drifting snow that is still accumulating on the Bruce Peninsula.
Please do not call the local OPP Detachment or the Provincial Communications Centre in London for road/weather conditions. Dispatchers are busy answering “calls for serviceâ€Â. Do not call 9-1-1 unless you have a legitimate emergency.
