On Thursday, January 5, 2016, members of the Owen Sound Police Service Drug Unit with the assistance of the uniform branch arrested a 38 year old male on outstanding arrest warrants held by Huron O.P.P. and the Waterloo Regional Police Service.
Upon arrest the male was found to be in possession of Heroin, over $3500 in cash and other drug trafficking paraphernalia.
A Search Warrant was executed at the residence where the male had been staying. Additional items were seized including a prohibited weapon, marihuana and further paraphernalia.
The street value of the seized Heroin is approximately $600.
The male was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
