On April 3, 2016 at 3:50 p.m., the Guelph Police conducted a traffic stop on South Ring Road after observing two vehicles driving with damage. It is alleged that at approximately 3:48 a.m., a rear end collision occurred on Stone Road East. The responsible vehicle then did a U-turn and fled the scene. The other vehicle followed until observed by police. Police spoke with the male driver of the vehicle with front end damage, determined he had consumed alcohol and he was arrested.
Christopher Henry, 31 years of Orangeville has been charged with impaired driving and drive over 80mg. He was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act with fail to remain. He will appear in court on April 19, 2016.
