(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Sunday October 28, 2012, shortly before 3 a.m., a Perth County OPP officer on patrol observed an older model Dodge pickup truck driving south bound on Hwy 23 through Atwood, on the wrong side of the road.
The officer pulled over the truck and arrested the female driver for impaired operation. The driver was transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville where she failed two Intoxilyzer breath tests.
Henrica Kuijpers (19) of Adelaide-Metcalfe Twp. has been charged with “impaired operation of a motor vehicleâ€Â, and “operation with over 80 mgs of alcoholâ€Â. She is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on November 26, 2012, to answer to these charges. She received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension, and her pickup truck was impounded for seven days.
