Laser Strike On Aircraft
(Innisfil, ON) South Simcoe Police are seeking the assistance of the public, after an ORNGE air ambulance helicopter pilot suffered a minor eye injury when hit by a laser over Innisfil. The helicopter was over Yonge Street and Lockhart Road on Sunday night around 9:30 p.m. when the incident happened. The pilot was assessed at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and was unable to fly for the remainder of his shift.
