Head On Collision Update – Perth Road 131 Open – One Airlifted To Hospital

(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) – Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continue to investigate a head on collision that occurred on Perth Road 131, south of Line 83 in the hamlet of Carthage at around 9:15 am today. Perth Road 131 was reopened at 3:50 p.m. this afternoon.

The two vehicles involved were a grey Chevrolet Venture Van and a white Chevrolet Silverado pick up. The driver of the Chevrolet Venture Van was airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Silverado pick up was transported by ambulance to an area hospital.
