(SOUTHERN BRUCE COUNTY, ON) With Easter weekend fast approaching, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking residents to include extra time if planning to travel. The 4 day holiday weekend provides a good opportunity to connect with friends and family, so you expect more traffic on the roads. With the increase in traffic, delays can also be expected due to sheer volume, collisions or road work. Without leaving extra time, delays can become very frustrating and drivers begin taking chances to make up time” which inevitably leads to carnage on the roads.
The South Bruce OPP will be deploying all available personnel to traffic duties this weekend to discourage risky driving behaviors. Officers will be watching for impaired driving
