(TOWN OF HARRISTON, ON) – On Friday March 30, 2018 at approximately 3:00 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) conducted a traffic stop on George Street South, Harriston. Investigations led to both driver and passenger being arrested and charged for possession of meth.
53-year-old female, Vassana JITTAVONG of North York and 27-year-old male, Niphol WIWITCHAI of Toronto have both been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth. JITTAVONG was also found to be in the possession of nine debit cards that did not belong to her. She was charged with nine counts of Unauthorized Possession of Credit Card. Both were held for bail.
