(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP)- On August 25, 2015 at approximately 2:46 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers observed a male driving a 2014 Chrysler and performed a vehicle stop. The investigation revealed that he is not to be driving a motor vehicle. He was arrested and released at the scene with a court date.
The vehicle was impounded for a period of 45 days.
52-year-old Edward PETSINIS of Harriston has been charged with Driving While Disqualified contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada and Driving While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on November 6, 2015.
