The Chatham-Kent police would like to remind all drivers to be extra careful while travelling on our local roadways this evening. There will be lots of little ghosts and goblins trick-or-treating tonight.
Although we encourage children to trick-or-treat with a responsible adult, there are times when children are not as careful as they should be, so we as drivers must slow down and take extra precautions, especially around crosswalks. Everyone is asked to please obey all signs and traffic lights tonight.
Please drive a little slower tonight and make this a Happy Halloween for everyone.
