Hamilton Police investigating a Sexual Assault

The Hamilton Police Service is conducting a sexual assault investigation which took place at Jackson Square located at 2 King Street West, Hamilton near the Summers Lane and King Street doors. It is believed that at approximately 3:00pm on July 8th, 2016 the suspect approached a victim from behind and sexually assaulted the victim. With the assistance of Jackson Square security, the police have identified a suspect, however, the police are looking to identify any victim(s) or witness(es) to the sexual assault.

The Hamilton Police Service continues to investigate and is looking for any information regarding the incident. Any potential victim(s) or witness(es) are encouraged to contact Detective David McKenzie of the Sexual Assault Unit at 905-540-5050 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
