Halton Police Investigate Knifepoint Robbery in Oakville

On Monday August 29th at approximately 04:00 hours, police responded to a parking lot located in the area of Marlborough Court in Oakville for a report of a robbery.

A 49 year old Toronto resident reported to police that he had been robbed at knifepoint in his vehicle after driving an unknown male to this location from the Toronto area. Once they arrived in Oakville the male suspect produced a knife and demanded his cash and wallet. The victim complied and was not injured during the incident. The suspect then fled on foot, and was last seen running along a path that leads through a plaza into Marlborough Court.

The suspect is described as being a black male, light skin, 25 to 30 years, approximately 5’11” with a medium build. He was wearing a white shirt, black pants and running shoes.

Investigators believe this to be an isolated incident given the circumstances involved.
