Halton Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Oakville Convenience Store

On September 11th 2016 at approximately 22:30 hours, three suspects entered the Hasty Market convenience store located at Upper Middle Road and Eight Line, Oakville and demanded cash. Two of the suspects were carrying what appeared to be shotguns and pointed the firearms at the employees.

The suspects obtained a quantity of cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets before fleeing the store. They are believed to have left the area in a vehicle that was located nearby. The two employees were not physically injured as a result of the incident.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect 1: Male black in his 20s, thin build, wearing a black hooded ‘Nike’ sweatshirt, grey pants, and black shoes. He was carrying a blue ‘Nike’ duffle bag and what appeared to be a pump action shotgun.

Suspect 2: Male brown possibly middle-eastern, in his 20s, medium build, wearing a black ‘True Religion’ brand hooded sweatshirt with white drawstrings, blue jeans, and white shoes. He was carrying a black knapsack and what appeared to be a sawed off shotgun.

Suspect 3: Male black in his 20s, muscular build, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and white shoes. He was carrying a knapsack with a camouflage pattern. He did not appear to have a firearm.

Investigators are reviewing video surveillance from the area to obtain further descriptors of the suspects and any vehicle involved.
