Halton Police are investigating two armed robberies

On July 7th 2016, at approximately 5:20PM, Three suspects entered the Royal Bank of Canada branch located at 1240 Steeles Avenue, in the Town of Milton. The suspects approached a teller and produced a note demanding money. They indicated they had a weapon, but none was seen. A sum of money was turned over before they made good on their escape.

Approximately 30 minutes later, two of the three suspects entered the Royal Bank of Canada branch located at 309 Hays Boulevard, in the Town of Oakville. Just as in the Milton robbery, the suspects approached a teller and produced a note demanding money. During this robbery a weapon was indicated and observed by the teller. The suspects fled the area and were last seen traveling eastbound on Dundas Street.

No bank employees or customers were injured as a result of these two robberies.

The three suspects involved are described as:

1) Male black, 20-30 years old, 5’10” – 6’2””, skinny build, wearing dark heavy clothing and glasses.

2) Male black, 25-35 years old, 5”10” – 6’2”, skinny build, wearing dark heavy clothing.

3) Male black, 25-35 years old, 5’10” – 6’2”, medium build, small facial hair, wearing dark heavy clothing.

These suspects are considered to be armed and dangerous. Should any member of the public observe the suspects, they are being asked not to approach them and immediately call 911.
