Hallahan Fights For Meeting With Morris Turnberry

Last night, Ray Hallahan introduced a motion to have a meeting with our Morris-Turnberry neighbours. This sparked several debates about when to have the meeting, and how prepared we are for this meeting. Apparently at the last meeting with M-T, many questions and comments were presented which need to be addressed before we can move forward.

Councillor Alma Conn questioned why it was taking so long to gather all the contracts and service agreements regarding M-T. Conn said they (M-T) have the information, are we just to embarrassed to ask for it. Hallahan’s motion did not mention a date for the meeting, only a long list of topics that need to be discussed be between North Huron and Morris-Turnberry.

Council finally agreed to move forward with a meeting with Morris-Turnberry, once town staff has answers to all of Morris-Turnberry’s questions.
