(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that took place in the early hours of Wednesday, June 15, 2016.
At 1:20am, Ottawa Police received a call by a local hospital that a man had just walked in with a gunshot wound to the leg. Officers interviewed the male victim, at the hospital, and were informed that he had been shot in the leg in the Fisher Avenue and Baseline Road area.
Guns and Gangs investigators are still looking to confirm a shooting occurred at that location and the investigation continues.
