Guled Yusuf Charged With Second Degree Murder

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in Homicide #56/2014.

On Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at approximately 8:40 p.m., police were called to 100 High Park Avenue for a stabbing.

It is alleged that:

– once on scene, police located a man with multiple stab wounds

– the man was taken to hospital where he was later pronounced

The man has been identified as Musa Yusuf, 52, of Toronto.

It is further alleged that:

– a suspect was located and arrested a few kilometres from the scene

Guled Yusuf, 22, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) Second-Degree murder.

He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at 2 p.m.
