Stolen bikes recovered – two males arrested
On July 18, 2015 at 9:30 a.m., the Guelph Police entered into a stolen bicycle investigation at an east end residence. As a result of the investigation a total of sixteen bicycles and one bicycle trailer were recovered and two males were arrested.
Michael O’Brien, 58 years of Guelph has been charged with possession of stolen property. He will appear in court on August 15, 2015.
William Beaver, 49 years of Guelph has been charged with possession of stolen property. He will appear in court on August 28, 2015.
Local residents are urged to contact police at 519-824-1212 ext. 7338 if they have recently had their bicycle stolen to report the details in the event it’s one of the recovered bikes from this investigation.
Motorcycle crash leads to serious injuries
On July 18, 2015 at 11:25 p.m., the Guelph Police went to Imperial Road near Ferman Drive for a motorcycle collision. It is alleged that a 34-year-old Guelph male was operating a Red Honda sport bike” northbound on Imperial Road. As the motorcycle passed the intersection at Ferman Drive
